What is FSSC 22000?
Developed by the Foundation for Food Safety Certification, FSSC 22000 is an entirely new approach to food safety risk management throughout the food supply chain. FSSC 22000 is a complete certification scheme based on ISO 22000 - a global standard for food safety management system. FSSC 22000 is fully recognized by the requirements of the Global Food Safety Initiative.
Who can use FSSC 22000?
FSSC 22000 is applicable to all foodstuffs, food ingredients, packaging material manufacturers, service providers or caterers regardless of their size, sector or geographical location.
